One-Day International Conference on “Yantra: Yugantar for Advancing New Technology, Research & Acceleration” to mark National Technology Day 2025

Global Research Institute of Pharmacy (GRIP), under the aegis of the Global Research Group of Institutions (GRGI), Radaur, Yamunanagar, successfully organized a One-Day International Conference on “Yantra: Yugantar for Advancing New Technology, Research & Acceleration” to mark National Technology Day 2025 on August 8, 2025. The event brought together eminent academicians, scientists, industry leaders, and researchers from across India and abroad.
The conference was sponsored by the Haryana State Council for Science, Innovation & Technology (DST, Govt. of Haryana) and supported by the Society of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (SPER). It was graced by distinguished Guests of Honour, eminent speakers, and delegates representing premier universities, research institutes, and industry organizations.
In his inaugural address, Dr. Ashwani Dhingra, Principal-Director, GRGI, welcomed all participants and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to building platforms that bridge academia, research, and industry. Chairman CA S.K. Jindal and Vice-Chairperson Mrs. Indu Jindal highlighted GRGI’s vision of fostering innovation, promoting entrepreneurship, and preparing students to excel in the global knowledge economy.
Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr.) Harish Dureja, Dean, R&D, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, MDU, Rohtak, emphasized the importance of embracing technological advancements and strengthening research collaborations for sustainable development. The Guests of Honour — Prof. (Dr.) Shailesh Sharma, Principal, College of Pharmacy, Bela; Dr. Rahul Taneja, Scientist, DST Haryana; Prof. (Dr.) Kumar Guarve, Principal, GGSCOP; Dr. Vishal Chakkarwar, MD, K&E Prime Editor; and Dr. Abhishek Bhudhiraja, Principal Medical Writer, Merck, Darmstadt, Germany — underscored the vital role of science and research-based technology in advancing the pharmaceutical sector.
The conference featured keynote lectures, technical sessions, and interactive discussions on cutting-edge topics in science, technology, and interdisciplinary research. Dr. Kunal Nepali, Associate Professor, Taipei Medical University, Taiwan, delivered a presentation on DNA Damage Repairing and PARP, while Dr. Deepak Sharma, Associate Professor, IIT-BHU, Varanasi, presented on Unlocking Chemistry’s Potential. Faculty members and students showcased their innovative work through oral and poster presentations.
Serving as a vibrant networking platform, the event enabled scholars and professionals to explore future collaborations, share insights, and discuss challenges and opportunities in advancing new technologies. More than 50 resource persons participated, including Prof. (Dr.) Vinod Gautam, Prof. (Dr.) Suresh Kumar, Prof. (Dr.) Gourav Aggarwal, Prof. (Dr.) Lovkesh Bhatia, Prof. (Dr.) Sourabh Maan, Prof. (Dr.) Divya Kiran, Prof. (Dr.) Arun Mittal, Prof. (Dr.) Gagandeep Kaur, Prof. (Dr.) Akash Jain, Dr. Sameer Sapra, Mr. Anupam Attri, Ms. Deepika, Dr. Anish Singh, Dr. Prerna Sharma, Dr. Rahul Sharma, Prof. (Dr.) Parveen Goyal, Prof. (Dr.) Bhawna Chopra, Prof. (Dr.) Priyanka Kriplani, Prof. (Dr.) Ajmer Grewal, among others.
In the valedictory session, awards for Best Paper and Best Poster were presented to recognize outstanding research contributions. The conference concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to dignitaries, sponsors, speakers, delegates, and volunteers for their invaluable contributions to the event’s success.
A key highlight of the conference was the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between GRIP and various institutions and organizations, including K&E Prime Editor Pvt. Ltd., Innovational Publishers, and Inventa Life Research Solutions, aimed at fostering academic–industry collaboration and enhancing research opportunities.
During the event, Dr. Lakshya Aggarwal, Director, GRIMT, announced the establishment of the AeroVision Drone Lab — a joint initiative of AVPL International and AICTE — designed to revolutionize technical education through hands-on training. The lab will offer specialized courses such as Drone Technician, Agricultural Drone Operation, and Battery Service Technician, marking a significant step towards innovation, self-reliance, and advanced technology.
The conference attracted over 500 delegates from diverse backgrounds. In the closing session, students and speakers shared their reflections on the enriching experience. Conference Coordinator Dr. Neha Yadav presented the conference report, extending heartfelt thanks to all distinguished guests, speakers, resource persons, and the organizing committee. She also commended Conference Secretary Dr. Smita Narwal for her dedication and meticulous coordination, noting that platforms like Yantra: Yugantar not only open new frontiers in science and technology but also inspire youth toward research, innovation, and the vision of a self-reliant India.
The success of this International Conference underscores GRGI’s unwavering dedication to academic excellence, global engagement, and research-driven growth, reinforcing its position as a leading hub for innovation and higher education in the region.
Workshop on Molecular Docking
We at GRIP were honored to host a hands-on Workshop on Molecular Docking, featuring an insightful session by Dr. Ajmer Singh, Professor at GGSCOP.
Dr. Singh shared his expertise on computational drug discovery, molecular docking tools, and practical applications in pharmaceutical research. The workshop enriched the participants’ understanding of structure-based drug design, giving them valuable exposure to modern research techniques.

Workshop on Design Expert & SPSS Software 🧠💻
We at GRIP were delighted to host an insightful workshop on Design Expert and SPSS Software conducted by Dr. Rameshwar Dass, Associate Professor, GGSCOP.
Dr. Dass shared his extensive knowledge and practical expertise on statistical analysis, design of experiments (DoE), and data interpretation, empowering our students and faculty with valuable skills essential for research and academic excellence.

PHARMA ANVESHAN 2025 | National Conference at GRGI

In fond memory of Prof. M.L. Shroff, a pioneer in the pharmaceutical field, Global Research Institute of Pharmacy (GRIP), Radaur, successfully hosted the one-day National Conference – PHARMA ANVESHAN 2025 on March 6. The event was organized under the esteemed patronage of Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, in collaboration with the Society of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (SPER). Themed “Entrepreneurship & Startups in Pharma and Pharmacy Practice,” the conference aimed to promote innovation, startup culture, and incubation support in the pharmaceutical sector. The Chief Guest, Mr. Narender Kumar (SDM, Radaur), shared his valuable insights on perseverance, innovation, and continuous learning. The event featured several Guests of Honor including Prof. (Dr.) Kumar Guarve (GGS College of Pharmacy), Dr. Upendra Nagaich (Founder, SPER Market Research), Dr. Rahul Taneja (Scientist, DST), and Drug Control Officers Ms. Ritu Mehla, Mr. Chetan Verma, and Mr. Gulshan Kumar. Keynote speakers such as Dr. Rajesh Verma (Dabur R&D), Ms. Rohini Sharma (MD, Rohini Biocare), Dr. Sameer Sapra (MD, Physic Herbals), Prof. (Dr.) Monika Gulati (Dean, LPU), and Mr. Subhash Baidya (VP, Mankind Pharma) shared their expertise on innovation, herbal research, and industry trends. With 500+ delegates in attendance, the conference included panel discussions, technical sessions, and student competitions. Winners of the poster and oral presentations came from various reputed institutions including GRIP, KUK, and Chaudhary Devi Lal College. The event also saw the release of The Pharma Chronicle and over 100 abstracts published in the Pharma Research Bulletin under Edu Spread. GRGI Chairman CA Sanjay Jindal and Vice Chairperson Ms. Indu Jindal applauded the team’s efforts and reaffirmed their commitment to fostering research and innovation. The theme of the conference, “From Schools to Startups: Igniting Young Minds to Innovate,” aimed to inspire young students to think creatively and pursue entrepreneurial endeavors. Sponsored by the Haryana State Council for Science, Innovation & Technology, Directorate of Science & Technology, Government of Haryana, and supported by the Society of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (SPSR), the event brought together experts and students for a day of learning and inspiration. The Chief Guest, Shri Sanjeev Chawla, ADC from the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, shared his experiences as an entrepreneur, motivating students to follow their startup dreams. The Guests of Honor, including Dr. Shashi Alok, National President of SPSR from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi; Prof. Dr. Kumar Guarve, Principal of GGSCOP, Yamunanagar; and Dr. Prateek Sharma from Government College of Pharmacy, Kangra, emphasized the importance of nurturing entrepreneurial skills from a young age. Key speakers like Dr. Vanish Kumar, Scientist-C at the National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute, Chandigarh, and Dr. Rahul Taneja, Scientist at DST, Government of Haryana, provided valuable insights on nano biosensors for food contamination detection and the role of innovation and intellectual property rights in the pharmaceutical industry.
