The college is approved by Pharmacy Council of India u/s 12; affiliated with Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health sciences, Rohtak and Haryana State board of technical education (HSBTE), Panchkula. We offer a 4 year degree program (B.Pharmacy) and 2 year diploma program (D.Pharmacy) with intake of 100 and 60 respectively. If you want to become a pharmacist in India, you will have to take admission to AICTE approved b pharma Institute with proper affiliation and have to take admission in b pharma course of d pharma course.
Under the supervision of a pharmacist, the pharmacy technicians give medicines o the patients (prescription based or over the counter). Other works they do are providing proper information to patients and doctors regarding medicine and supervise other pharmacy staff.
Generally after doing a Diploma of Pharmacy (a two-year program) or a Bachelor of Pharmacy four and a half-year program) along with a six-month pharmacy internship you fulfill the minimum criteria required for becoming a pharmacist.
